Life Member 065 Billy Byrd

BYRD, Billy L. Chief M/Sgt. USAF, Ret., 83, devoted husband and father and Kively Byrd, well known local artist, 85, devoted wife and mother, both peacefully passed into the arms of their Heavenly Father on Jan. 2, 2011, after being together for 62 years. Both are survived by a son, Darius "D.W." Byrd and a granddaughter, Meghan J. Byrd. Billy Byrd is survived by a sister, Joyce Fipps, a sister-in-law, Jean Byrd, and several nieces and nephews. Kively is also survived by a brother, Frixos Servetopoulou (Sandra), and two nephews. A memorial celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, Jan. 8 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Blount & Curry Funeral Home 605 S. MacDill Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
